De HKU is met ruim 3800 studenten en een zeer gevarieerd aanbod aan vooropleidingen, bacheloropleidingen, post-hbo en masteropleidingen één van de grootste op kunst en cultuur gerichte opleidingsinstituten in Europa. De HKU biedt hoogwaardige opleidingen in de volgende richtingen: beeldende kunst, vormgeving, muziek, theater, games en interactie, media, kunstmanagement en kunsteducatie. Sinds 1999 is de HKU ook 'an accredited institution of the Open University'. Het onderwijs wordt gegeven aan 5 faculteiten en op 3 lokaties ( Utrecht, Hilversum en Amersfoort )

The HKU is with over 3800 students and a very diversified programm of pre-education, bachelor-degree, post-hbo and master classes, one of the one of the top-level cultural and artistic educational institutes in Europe. De HKU offers high quality educations in these directions: sculpture, design music, theatre, games & interaction, media, artmanagement and arteducation, including fina arts, fashion design , photography, etc. The HKU is Since 1999 also 'an accredited institution of the Open University'. Education is on 5 different faculties and 3 locations ( Utrecht, Hilversum, Amersfoort ) in the central part of The Netherlands.
